So I built my own Twitter 😅

These notes serve the purpose of letting me quickly jot down my ideas without committing to writing a whole article. So far they've really taken the pressure off!

Nuxtify

Annnnnd... because building a personal Twitter wasn't enough, I built by own WordPress 😂

I'm calling it Nuxtify. All my websites are built with it (including this one!)

It's been a work in progress for the past few years and has enabled me to launch my projects quickly.

I've open-sourced my code to help other technically minded founders quickly build their own marketing sites.

5/7/2026 Update: I’m in the process of building a full Nuxtify CMS module based on Nuxt Content. I’m using it for my SaaS marketing site and it’s miles ahead of any other CMS I’ve ever used—largely because it’s AI-native, meaning you can use any coding agent to make updates vs clicking around a clunky CMS (like I’m doing now to update this page). As I type this in Sanity, I’m definitely feeling the pull to update quietstartup.com to use my new Nuxtify CMS. Soon! But I need to keep focusing on my:

Audio SaaS

I've spent the last year or so head-down building an AI audio creation SaaS. It's still in early access, but as it grows, I'll post about my learnings here. Make sure to stay in the loop.

7/9/2026 Update: I’m pivoting slightly on the idea to focus on creating podcasts. Podcasting is something I’ve always wanted to try. I’m also rebranding it to better align with my vision. On the technical side, I’m rebuilding it from the ground up from a Firebase backend to an open source stack of Drizzle and Better Auth. So major changes on all fronts. Hope to be wrapped up with this pivot by August. We’ll see.

Community

My long-term vision for this site is to be a community of like-minded indie founders who prefer a more quiet approach to building their companies.

This is still very much in the early stages with more details to come.

Writing

I'm spending a lot of time thinking and writing the first few articles for this site. Mostly to get the whirlwind of ideas down on digital paper.

To help me get into the momentum of publishing, I'm starting with shorter form notes.

Reading

I'm diving deep into digital world-building, pull by design marketing, and category design.

Walking

My (almost) daily walks help me to clear my head and come up with new ideas. Highly recommended.

Swimming

I started swimming again. I used to swim a lot as a kid, but took many years “off”. I’ve been going to the pool and swimming some laps. It’s nice to get back in the water.
